West Palm Beach, Florida- This weekend a vibrant Latin church called CIDRA hosted an extraordinary conference called Convergencia 2024. Saturday started with worship, but they didn’t just sing in this congregation. Talented musicians were accompanied by dancers, acrobatics, painters, even a jewelry maker. The altar was flooded with people singing, dancing, and weeping. This is typical during CIDRA’s time of praise and worship.
Blake Healy took the platform to share next. Blake calls himself a “seer,” someone who can see into the realm of the spirit, angles, demons, that kind of thing. He is the author of The Veil and other books which go into further detail about this gift of seeing. He opened the session by telling the church what he has just witnessed during the worship (hear audio clip below). After that he spoke more about the purpose of personal angels, whom he believes God has given to each human, just to love and encourage them throughout their life.
Other speakers at the event including Brian Alarid, Paola Nicole, Prophet Flaminio and Yolanda Rivas, and lead Pastor of CIDRA, Apostle Ruben Arroyo were part of the conference line up. Though it’s predominantly a Spanish speaking congregation, CIDRA is a bilingual church. They offer translation in both English and Spanish depending on the language being spoken from the stage. At times it can be difficult to hear the translator over the roar of the crowd, who get excited, stand, jump, raise their hands and shout things like “Amen!” and “Hallelujah!” fairly frequently.
The atmosphere is charged at CIDRA. The people are joyful, energetic, embracing, and passionate. Missy Raide has been a member of the church for about 8 years. She doesn’t speak any Spanish, but still calls CIDRA, “home,” and describes this place as “an open Heaven.” Today, Blake Healy also encouraged attendees at CIDRA that, “Heaven is with you,” and explained how he loves to bring his family and students from Bethel Atlanta, to CIDRA because “you just have to experience worship here with these people.”
