Habitation Church is a new Spirit-filled church in Southwest Florida set to launch in August

Estero, Florida- Finding the right church community can be a challenge. There can be many proverbial boxes to check. People want the worship to be enjoyable, the preaching to be powerful, the children’s ministry to be safe and fun, and some are in search of a specific type of Spirit-filled church. In a previous article, Discerning the darkness from the divine in spiritual and supernatural practices, Spirit-filled churches were described as being led by the Holy Spirit, and not by religious man-made agendas. If you’re searching for a Spirit-filled church home in the Southwest Florida area, you may want to check out Habitation Church.

The official launch of Habitation will happen next month, but this community of believers, has already begun meeting at 22100 South Tamiami Trail in Estero, Florida, for services on Saturday nights at 6 pm. Last night the congregation gathered, kicking off with over an hour of free flowing worship. The atmosphere was charged with the presence of God, before the preaching started, and several gifts of the Holy Spirit were demonstrated including words of knowledge and healing. See Discerning the darkness from the divine in spiritual and supernatural practices and Words of Knowledge Teaching for more about these supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit.

It was a mix of preaching from the scriptures, personal testimonies, and from his heart as Pastor William Hinn shared a message about the importance of maintaining fascination with God. A majority of this message is included in the audio link below.

The Habitation Church message by Pastor William Hinn, July 20, 2024.

In true nature of a Spirit-filled church, Hinn admitted that he wants to relinquish all control of Habitation Church, surrendering to God’s plan and yielding fully to the Holy Spirit. “Fascination is gonna take us places determination never can,” and “determination is a great trait, it just has no place in communion with God,” were key themes in Hinn’s message. In referring to the importance of fascination with God, Pastor Hinn paralleled the significance of fascination for your spouse in a marriage relationship.

After over an hour of unscripted preaching, with very little if any notes to follow, Pastor Hinn wrapped up the service with some prophecy about freedom from control and performance in the context of striving to please God. He then led the congregation in corporate communion and offered prayer from the ministry team to close out the evening around 9pm.
